Coaching and Talent Identification

Since 1983, we have consulted with businesses on their athletic investments by utilizing our unique understanding of the globalization of athletics and business.

TRACS has identified emerging athletic talent for companies such as FILA, New Balance and Reebok. We have provided coaching and consulting services to Olympic and World Championship finalists, including Olympian and former American record holder, Bruce Bickford, and British Olympian, Richard Nerurkar.

Utilizing more than 30 years of coaching experience, we have recruited young competitors worldwide and guided them to national and global successes. In addition, we have coached, consulted and managed a number of successful Boston-area running clubs.

Emerging Elites: The Training Program for Competitive Athletes

Established in 2000, Emerging Elites is a division of TRACS in which Coach Fred Treseler has taken his expertise and passion for running and applied it to identifying and training talented, competitive young athletes in the greater Boston area. Emerging Elites is a sanctioned and registered USA Track and Field club. Admission to the program is highly competitive, with the opportunity to train with some of the best high school athletes in Massachusetts.

The Emerging Elites Program has expanded to accommodate the growing interest from athletes, coaches and parents across the state. The summer program offers an unique alternative to typical running camps by combining the athlete's individual scholastic training with group training and informational sessions during the off-season. Three coaches provide weekly training for each of their athletes. Over the course of 8 weeks, athletes participate in 24 workouts that combine drills, core-work, stadiums, and group long-runs.
