5K@EASD run/walk Following the success of the Lisbon, Portugal edition, Novo Nordisk will again host the 5K@EASD run/walk in Berlin, Germany. The event will be held on Thursday 4 October 2012, at 18.30. The 5K@EASD run/walk brings together EASD delegates and citizens of Berlin to emphasize the need for increased physical activity and to help prevent diabetes. A slight change in exercise and diet habits can significantly reduce the risk of developing diabetes later in life. Take the first step towards a healthier lifestyle now and participate in our free 5K run/walk. Participation is free for all attendees of the EASD annual meeting and citizens of Berlin. There will be no restriction to the number of people participating in the race, but all participants will have to register in order to be allowed to take part in the 5K@EASD run/walk.
