Emerging Elites athletes that trained in the Emerging Elites Summer Program averaged over a 1-minute improvement versus their 2006 5K cross-country PR time. Younger, less experienced runners averaged 2-3 minutes improvement and older, experienced runners averaged 30-60 seconds for improvement. |

Gabe Pacione, a senior at Hamilton-Wenham and Boston Globe All-Scholastic Co-Runner of the Year, won the individual Division IV Eastern Mass MIAA Championship and paced his team to win the division title. Gabe placed 1st in the Division II MIAA All-State Cross-Country Championship.

Jenny Donnelly, a junior at Noble and Greenough and Boston Globe 2007 Fall Prep All-Scholastic, won both the individual Division II New England Championship and the Independent School League (ISL) individual titles. She improved her cross-country time by 2:22 this fall. Jenny had never won a cross-country race before this season! |
The Noble and Greenough team finished undefeated for the first time in school history as they captured both the ISL and New England Division II Championships! Four of the top five runners on the team have participated in Emerging Elites: Jenny Donnelly, Brett Hayes, Emma MacDonald and Rhetta Nadas. |

The Xaverian Brothers team won the Catholic Conference for the third straight year. Six of the seven athletes who contributed to the 4th place finish at the Division I MIAA Eastern Mass Championship are Emerging Elites: Peter Dolan, Andy Stillman, Conor O’Brien, Michael Amirault, John Fisher and John Bleday. The team also placed 5th at the Division I MIAA All-State Cross-Country Championship.

After her third summer with Emerging Elites, Chrissy Meagher made an immediate impact at the University of Connecticut. As a freshman, Chrissy finished in the top three on her team in very race this year. She finished first on her varsity team, leading the Huskies to a 4th place finish at the Meet of Champions. Chrissy dropped her 5k PR by 43 seconds this season. Congratulations Chrissy!
