Training Program

 • Want to supplement your team’s outdoor training?
 • Want to prepare for peak performance at EMass, All States and Outdoor Nationals?

The Emerging Elites Spring Program is designed to provide athletes with the opportunity to train with serious and competitive peers from public, private and prep schools. Recognizing that the spring academic calendar is a busy time in our athlete’s lives, the Emerging Elites Spring Program offers two practices per week, allowing for more flexibility in their hectic schedules. The coaching staff carefully monitors each athlete’s health and progress during the spring racing season to maximize performance.

Emerging Elites athletes in the Spring Training Program have the opportunity to race at several outdoor track meets and invitationals during the spring season. The Emerging Elites coaches carefully design each athlete's racing schedule to achieve their goals and maximize their race performances.

The Spring Program has training groups for sprinters, middle distance and distance athletes. In addition, the Spring Program includes athletes beyond outdoor track, including athletes from soccer, lacrosse, squash and field hockey teams.

Spring Track Consultation Program

Returning in 2013: Emerging Elites athletes and parents expressed a strong interest in training and racing consultations with the Emerging Elites coaches during the outdoor track season. Additionally, many Emerging Elites athletes communicated a need for additional practices during the spring season.

For athletes who are unable to participate in the traditional Emerging Elites Spring Program, the Emerging Elites coaches created the Spring Track Consultation Program. This Consultation Program accommodates each Emerging Elites athlete’s specific training environment. Recognizing that athletes compete on different schedules, assume different roles on their scholastic teams, and that their coaches train them in varying systems, the Emerging Elites coaches carefully tailor each athlete’s training.

This program provides:
  • Sunday morning coached long run
  • Dedicated coaches and support staff who review each athlete’s daily training on Flotrackr
  • Racing strategy and supplemental training based on each athlete’s high school program
  • Practices and core sessions coached by Emerging Elites coaches
  • Similarly talented competitive athletes from across eastern Massachusetts

Tuition: $1,800 Payment is due in full following acceptance into the Consultation Program.

Application: Please note enrollment in this program is limited to athletes who have completed a previous Emerging Elites training program.
