The Emerging Elites Summer Program has established itself as a unique alternative to typical summer running camps. The eight-week summer program goes beyond traditional training, offering a comprehensive, individualized approach that includes performance evaluation, group training and educational components. The program can be tailored to complement an existing summer schedule as athletes are encouraged to share their goals and training schedule with Emerging Elites coaches to maximize the effectiveness of the program.

Structured, Sport-Specific Off-Season Training

  • Consistent, summer-long accessibility to coaches
  • Opportunity to maintain a high activity level throughout the summer
  • Diverse training sessions: running drills, plyometrics, core exercises, hill and stadium training

Holistic Approach

  • Assessment of anatomical strengths and weaknesses by Peter Stone, leading sports physical therapists
  • Personalized work-out plans based on assessment to prevent injuries and improve core strength
  • Educational sessions for athletes and parents: sports nutrition, structuring a training program, optimizing competitive performances

Individual Approach

  • Personalized training: incorporates athletes’ off-season training program as provided by their scholastic coaches
  • Injury-prevention exercises as prescribed by Peter Stone
  • Small group sessions: 10-12 athletes per coach
