Seeking to combine his passion for running and sports marketing, Fred Treseler left his position as an English teacher at Dedham High School to found TRACS, Inc. in 1983. Fred's entrepreneurial vision of combining business with athletics, with running in particular, led to the creation of TRACS, a Boston-based sports marketing and event management firm. Today, Fred manages the TRACS team and continues to oversee TRACS' client partnerships with the same energy he brought to the high school classroom.

In 1992, Marita joined forces with her husband and became the treasurer of TRACS, Inc. With the help of her financial and bookkeeping skills, TRACS continues to prosper in the sports marketing and event management industry. Before joining TRACS, Marita worked as a health care administrator for the Hospital Association of Rhode Island. As a project assistant, Marita was responsible for compiling data used in pricing negotiations between BlueCross BlueShield and the Hospital Association of Rhode Island. Marita is responsible for all financial management at TRACS and when she is not in the finance department, she is often found at TRACS events.

Lisa discovered TRACS in 2005 as a race day host for the John Hancock Elite Athlete Village and later joined TRACS as a post-graduate intern in the fall of 2007. Lisa joined the TRACS team as a full-time associate in the winter of 2007. A graduate of Penn State University, Lisa majored in nutritional science and competed on the Women’s Varsity Lightweight Crew Team. During her undergrad years, Lisa counseled Penn State athletes on their nutritional needs under the supervision of Dr. Kristine Clark. She developed race directing experience while organizing several community charity running events as an undergrad in State College, PA. A running enthusiast herself, Lisa has completed two marathons (Boston and Philadelphia). Lisa brings her passion for running to managing the Emerging Elites program and the John Hancock partnership.

Consulting on TRACS projects for the past 15 years, Fred joined the TRACS team as a full-time account manager in the winter of 2007. Fred's TRACS event management experience includes running, swimming, mountain biking and equestrian events across the United States. Fred's background in account management, sales and marketing began in the beverage industry while working in New York for the Boston Beer Company and McKinney Rogers. Currently, Fred manages pharmaceutical clients for TRACS, including Novo Nordisk and Astellas. A graduate of Boston College, Fred majored in art history and competed on the lightweight crew team. His academic pursuits took him to Florence, Italy for a year of concentrated studies in art history, where he also biked the Tuscan countryside and hiked in the Dolomites.

Majoring in communications at Northeastern University, Jess continues to work as a full-time associate for TRACS, Inc. She is responsible for the organization of all volunteers at the John Hancock Elite Athlete Village. Jess also provides leadership and support for TRACS special events.

After completing a semester-long internship with TRACS during his senior year at Endicott College, Mike returned to the TRACS team to work full time in the event management division. Mike graduated with a degree in Sports Management after spending a semester abroad in Australia his junior year. Loving both sports and marketing, TRACS is an ideal fit for Mike. Mike has traveled and worked on TRACS events in the US in Boston, Orlando and San Diego, and internationally in Montreal. His responsibilities include both equipment and event management.

Jeff graduated from Endicott College in 2010 with a degree in Business Administration, and completed a semester-long internship at TRACS during the fall of his senior year. After working on TRACS events in Boston, Montreal, San Diego, and Orlando he joined the TRACS team in July of 2010. Jeff brings his love and passion for sports and marketing to TRACS, spending most of his time working in the event management division of the company.

Currently pursuing a degree in mathematics with a minor in writing at Northeastern University, Lynn joined TRACS as a full-time associate in January 2010. Lynn works with the finance and accounting team, while also assisting with planning for the Emerging Elites program and 5K convention races.

- Bob has worked with TRACS since 1991 on both large and small events in the US and abroad, including the Boston Marathon. At the Boston Marathon, Bob has done everything from being a CBS-TV4 race day spotter to managing all host staffing for the John Hancock Elite Athlete Village. As a TRACS special events consultant, Bob continues to provide veteran leadership to our event staff and extraordinary service for our clients.

Adam joined the TRACS team in the fall of 2008, starting as a video intern primarily focusing on the Emerging Elites program and internal promotions for TRACS. Moving to a part-time associate position, Adam designs and executes online media campaigns for TRACS and Emerging Elites. His marketing vision combined with his direction and editing has propelled the Emerging Elites brand to the running community and attracted a growing online audience. A graduate of the University of Southern Maine, Adam majored in media studies. He was a 4-year varsity athlete; co-captain of the Southern Maine soccer team both his junior and senior year. Adam was a member of the NEISL All-Star team in the 2006-2007 Season.

Russ is a coach for the Emerging Elites program. Russ’ impressive ten years of professional coaching experience includes the Boston Running Club, the Cambridge Running Club, and assistant coach at Salve Regina. He has been the head coach of the men’s and women’s cross-country team at Babson College since 2004. Aside from working with the Emerging Elites program, Russ has been a participant in the Race SpotWatch studio for the Boston Marathon for several years.

Kelly started her tenure at TRACS as an intern during the spring of 2006. She worked closely on TRACS' Boston Marathon-related projects, including the John Hancock Elite Athletes Village and the John Hancock Marathon Challenge. Kelly's role grew from an intern to a part-time associate and later to a full-time position on the TRACS team. Following a semester abroad in Barcelona, Kelly graduated from Boston College in 2008 with a Bachelor's in Communications and a minor in International Studies. Kelly is currently a part-time associate at TRACS as she pursues her Master's in Higher Education Administration from the Lynch Graduate School of Education at Boston College.
