Join the ASTS for its “Inaugural ASTS 5K Fun Run/Walk.” What better way to demonstrate our support of patient health and wellness than by promoting physical fitness?

This event will take place during the ASTS 12th Annual State of the Art Winter Symposium held in conjunction with the NATCO Symposium for Advanced Transplant Professionals, January 12 – 15, 2012 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel.

See the sunrise as you run or walk along the Miami shores and help increase awareness of solid organ and cell transplantation. Through programs like this, the ASTS can continue to provide didactic training and networking opportunities that will influence the practice and science of this exciting field.

Rain or shine, check-in and warm-up begins at 6:15 a.m. and the race kicks off at 6:30 a.m. near the Americana lawn just outside the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Awards will be given to the top three male runners and walkers and the top three female runners and walkers of all age levels!

T-shirts will be provided for all pre-registered participants. A limited number of t-shirts will be available on the day of the event and will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
